Lophophora williamsii, or peyote, A cute lil fluffy cactus. Not native to the U.K. but I own a couple so I can help but include it in my magical roots collection.

This print is an original one block Lino cut that I hand carved, in the style of magical grimoires and you can see the process videos on my instagram (it took ages).

I used black Cranfield oil based ink. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future. The paper is Awagami kitakata washi printmaking paper which I have cut to size. Washi paper is very thin! I will be printing editions on thicker papers too, please don’t buy and leave bad reviews because you think the paper is too thin. It’s meant to be. It’s very strong and prints beautifully and has all the character you’d expect of a handmade paper.


Size: The paper size is approximately 20x26cm (8x10.25inches) which is a bit smaller than A4. The printed area is approximately 13x21.5cm (5.28x8.5inches)



My prints are hand registered by eye and unlike computer generated images are subject to slight variations that make each a unique piece of art.
